| Personal Background: A native of Kingsport, Mary attended Sullivan High School and East Tennessee State University. She moved to Miami after college, where she owned and operated a unisex boutique for several years. She was fashion merchandise manager for seven of the Papagallo shops throughout South Florida, and assisted in their manager training program. She also owned and operated an antique shop in Coconut Grove, Florida, FL before returning to Kingsport in 1990. She is married to Robert Struzenberg, and has two grown children. | ||||||
| Business Description: Commerce Fashion Exchange is an upscale resale consignment shop of ladies' fashions and accessories. Mary serves customers with their selections and builds partnerships with consignors. Her years of experience in retail have taught her that the most important element in running a thriving business is "customer service". She prides herself in creating a friendly atmosphere for her customers and consignors, who she values as partners in her business. She serves refreshments to buyer and browser alike, Mary and her staff offers each shopper their personalized service. She feels this differentiates her shop from a typical store.
