| Personal Background: Born in Charleston, SC but moved to Cincinati, Ohio when I was a child. I attended college at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.Since I've always loved the south I took advantage of a job opportunity to relocate to Georgia and later South Carolina.I hope to build a house on the beach in Charleston, SC where I have a lot on James Island. I have always enjoyed travel and tourism. I love to get to know the people in communities, taking the back roads instead of the interstates. Since I opened my own business I have done a lot of traveling on those back roads! | ||||||
| Business Description: After serving as executive director of the Columbia, SC Convention and Visitors Bureau for eight years, I decided to open my own business. I like the freedom to make decisions and plan my schedule. My company is called The Idea Factory, and it is a fulfillment company which offers distinctively designed products for the wholesale gift market. I am currently operating in four states. I also do consulting for communities who need help with building their tourism traffic. | ||||||
