| Personal Background: I am 25 years old. I am a native of Bristol, VA and currently live in the Washington, DC metro area. I am married to Greg Hale from Lynchburg, VA. We met at Radford University and have one son Max Thomas born in April of 1998. I am currently a full time wife and mother. | ||||||
| Business Description: Since, 1989 I have been teaching youth babysitting basics. I began teaching this course for the Red Cross in Bristol, VA. I know teach this class for Inova Health Source in Fairfax, VA. I have started my own Babysitting Fundamentals course that is currentley being offered through the Vienna Youth Center and the Girl Scourt Council of the Nations Capital. I will also speak to area church youth and civic organizations. | ||||||
| Awards & Achievements Interests: I have been awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award and the Lutheran Living Faith Award. I was the first girl in Virginia to recieve this church honor and the second youth. I was awarded the Volunteer Award for 1991 by the Women's Civitan Group in Bristol, VA. I have been awarded Local Director/Member of the year by the Virginia Jaycees. | ||||||
| Community Activities: I am the Public Relations Director and Vice President for Community Development for the Fairfax Jaycees. I coordinate a local bicycle safety fair for children, and am involved in fundraising for Camp Virgina Jaycee that allows physically challenged adults and children to enjoy a week at camp. | ||||||
| Hobbies & Special Interests: I enjoy serving on my church council as Fellowship Director. I am also a Sunday School Teacher. I am an advid music lover, and am madly in love with Barry Manilow. I have been since I was 4. I enjoy playing trivia games. This will be my 19th year as a Girl Scout, five thus far, has been as a Leader. | ||||||
